He successfully exited to a VC firm after 4 years at the helm. As Head of Africa for iflix he opened 5 offices, expanded into 8 countries and raised $20 mil for the African business in his first year. In 2019 he was awarded the most innovative business leader in SA. He has been the keynote speaker at, among others, AfricaCom (2x); CGCSA (Consumer Goods Council of SA); eCommerce Africa Confex (3x); Retail World Africa; he headlined at Google’s Start-up Grind and is well remembered for his 'It takes 15 years to become an overnight success' at NetProphet. He has a passion for everything digital and how it can, does and will change our lives, and how to use this to aggressively grow businesses. He backs entrepreneurs and serves as a mentor on a range of boards.
