He is a passionate marketer, a storyteller and an unconventional brand strategist known for his unorthodox approach to branding. With a career that grew exponentially within a decade, he has worked with some of South Africa’s biggest brands, ranging from State-Owned Entities and FMCG to financial services and logistics. As a young South African who grew up selling items through the kitchen window of his parents' home tuckshop, he built his foundation early. He has since transitioned from those humble beginnings to pitching brands and strategies in executive C-suites and major boardrooms. Over the course of his career, he has made valuable contributions to leading brands such as Momentum, Transnet, SAICA, Absa, South African Airways, Namibian Breweries and SA Tourism. His academic background mirrors his professional drive. In 2013, he graduated from North-West University with a BA in Communications. A decade later, he earned a BA Honours in Strategic Communications from the University of Johannesburg, complemented by certificates in Digital Marketing and Graphic Design from the University of Cape Town and Oakfields College. Driven by a desire to be a holistic marketer who understands the entire value chain, he is currently working towards his MBA. At the age of 32, he serves as the Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Sakhumnotho Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a pan-African investment holdings company based in Houghton, Johannesburg. In this role, he oversees the planning, development and execution of the group's marketing initiatives and global networking platforms, playing a vital role in company growth through creative influence and business strategy. Inspired by Musa Kalenga’s book "Ladders and Trampolines", he views his rapid progression through a series of high-impact "trampoline" moves. Guided by dedication, ambition and drive, he treats every professional peak as simply the base for his next summit.
