Chris Holton, the product director of Zappar, introduces us to augmented reality and its business applications.
Tuck InChris Holton may be described as a modern-day Renaissance man, given his expertise and interest in fields ranging from international politics and history to cutting-edge technology. Having graduated from universities in the UK and Hong Kong with a degree in politics, he has worked in various roles in tech startups, scaleups and VC-backed companies in the UK.
In 2016 he joined Zappar, a UK-based technology company specialising in augmented reality and computer vision. As product director he has helped launch a number of new products and services that helped brands and agencies produce award-winning AR campaigns.
To give himself first hand exposure to the local tech ecosystem, he has relocated with his family to Cape Town for half of 2023.
